Stage Reader · Version 2026-10-04
Stage Reader is a place to organize and read sheet music, and to share sets with other musicians. Bring PDFs, JPGs and PNGs that you own or have permission to use. Sharing must also be permitted by the rights holder.
What does not belong here
- Illegal material, or content that facilitates criminal activity.
- Pornography, sexual exploitation or sexual content involving minors. Stage Reader is not an adult-content hosting service.
- Threats, harassment, hateful abuse, graphic violence intended to shock, or content promoting harm.
- Private information shared without permission, or material that violates someone else's copyright or other rights.
- Spam, scams, malicious files, or using scores and shared sets as general-purpose file hosting.
Before you share
Check that every piece in your set follows this policy and that you have the right to share it. Recipients need the link and any password you set to read the set. They may pass both on. Do not include confidential information.
When you first use sharing under this policy, you must check “I agree to the Content policy” before sharing. We record the policy version and time of acknowledgement for your account. Adding new pieces to an existing shared set carries the same responsibilities.
Reports and administrator review
Use Report content on a shared page to flag a concern. Describe the problem without copying or attaching the offending material. A report goes to an administrator for review; it does not automatically remove content.
After reviewing a case, an administrator may revoke a set's share link, delete selected offending pieces, ban the source account, or combine these actions. Deleted pieces are removed from the owner's library and all sets that use them. Banning blocks sign-in and the account's sharing; it does not by itself delete the library. Unbanning does not restore a link that was explicitly revoked.
Moderators can inspect reported pieces through restricted access, including after a share is disabled. We retain report references, decisions and action records for review and service security. Deletion removes files from active storage; it does not recall copies already downloaded or saved offline. See our Privacy policy for information about records and your choices.
Account termination and remaining paid value
Violations of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your Stage Reader account. If your account is terminated for a violation, any unused paid access and remaining prepaid value may be forfeited without refund, except where applicable law or the relevant app store's refund rules require otherwise.
Questions or a mistaken decision
Use Contact us if you need help or believe a moderation decision was mistaken. Include your account email and any report reference you have. Do not send prohibited material with your request.
