Stage Reader is operated by The Kre8 Group Pte. Ltd. Use our contact form about your account or privacy.
Your account and music
We store your email address, display name, sign-in identifiers, uploaded scores, folders, setlists and reader preferences to provide Stage Reader. Your files are private unless you create a sharing link. Anyone who receives that link and any required share password can read the shared set; you can revoke the link in the reader. Copies already downloaded or saved offline cannot be recalled.
Stage Reader accounts are independent from NoteRush. Existing NoteRush accounts, files and purchases are not imported into this service.
Sign-in, payments and service providers
You can sign in by email, Google or Apple. Google and Apple provide the identity information you approve, such as your name and verified email address. Apple may provide a private relay address. We do not receive your Google or Apple password.
Mailtrap delivers transactional emails, and Migadu handles messages sent to our contact address. Stripe processes web payments; Apple and Google process purchases made in their respective apps. We retain payment references and license status; payment-card details are handled by the payment provider. Encrypted store purchase evidence and account links let us verify Full Access, restore purchases and process refunds. Cloudflare provides DNS, encrypted traffic delivery and website protection. These providers process the information needed to deliver their services.
QR and typed sign-in codes
If you choose Scan sign-in QR code, Stage Reader asks for camera access and reads the code on your device. Camera images from this feature are not uploaded to Stage Reader or saved in your music library. The decoded sign-in credential is sent to our server over an encrypted connection to display the account and, after your confirmation, sign you in. You can enter the sign-in code instead without using the camera.
We store sign-in codes as hashes, with account references, expiry, revocation and usage records, to protect this sign-in method.
Cookies and device storage
Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect account actions. Sign-in protection may use Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We do not add email open or click tracking to sign-in messages.
If you save music for offline use, copies remain in your browser or Stage Reader app on that device. The mobile apps keep sign-in tokens in iOS Keychain or encrypted Android storage. Files shared into the app remain in a private device inbox until you import or discard them; importing sends them to your selected account and folder. Temporary exported files are kept briefly to let the receiving app finish reading them. Use Log out in the reader to remove saved account music from that device. Protect devices on which you keep offline copies.
When you block a sharer while signed in, we save that sharer’s public account identifier and the display name you saw in your account’s block preferences. Copies on your device help apply those preferences while offline. Account block preferences remain until you unblock the sharer or your account’s library is deleted. When you block a sharer without signing in, the preference is saved only on that device. Device copies can remain until you unblock the sharer or clear the app or browser data. Blocking does not delete music, saved sets or downloaded copies. A name or identifier from a previously viewed share may therefore remain in a recipient’s block preferences after the source account is closed.
Support and content reports
Contact and support messages are sent to our team with the details you provide. Shared-content reports are stored for administrator review, along with review decisions and administrative access changes. Reports do not automatically remove shared content. Essential form cookies and rate limits protect these forms against abuse. The public contact form also uses Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam. Support replies go to the email address you provide, which may differ from your sign-in email. We retain account references for saved shared sets, and administrator grants, suspensions and review decisions are recorded for account management.
We record sharing-policy acknowledgements with the policy version and time. Reports retain source-account, set and piece references so authorized administrators can review reported pieces even if a share is later disabled. Review actions record the administrator, reason, selected targets and outcome. We do not attach reported uploads to notification emails or duplicate them in audit records.
Moderator deletion removes selected pieces from the active library, every referencing set and active file storage. Reports and action records are kept for review and security; downloaded or offline copies cannot be recalled. This is not a promise of erasure from all historical backups. Contact us about retention or deletion requests.
Security and operational records
We keep request-count records and hashes derived from IP addresses, email addresses or account identifiers to limit abuse. Our operational access logs record network addresses, request times, requested paths, request methods, response status and response sizes. These access logs exclude query strings. Technical error records can also include account or report references.
Support messages, technical logs and abuse-prevention or moderation records may remain after account closure for handling requests, reviewing decisions and maintaining service security. We do not specify a fixed deletion period for these records. The expiry of a sign-in code, session or rate-limit window does not by itself delete the corresponding record. Use our contact form for questions about retention or deletion.
Retention and your choices
We retain account information and music while providing your account. Technical logs and abuse-prevention records help maintain service security. Purchase records may need to be retained for accounting and legal obligations. You can download original scores from your library and remove scores or sharing links in the reader.
Use Your account → Delete account to delete your account after a recent sign-in and explicit confirmation. This closes sessions and sharing, removes your profile and sign-in identities, and removes your library from active storage. We retain a pseudonymous account reference for payment, security and moderation records; deletion does not issue a refund. Web purchases and administrator grants do not transfer; an active Apple or Google purchase can be restored to a replacement account after deletion. This does not restore deleted music. An interrupted file cleanup remains queued for completion. Offline copies on other devices and historical backups are not erased by this action. Protected administrator accounts require separate handling.
To request access, correction or help with deletion of your account information, use our contact form from your account email address. We may verify account ownership before acting. We do not sell your uploaded music or account information.
